I am sending out a quick note to personally invite you to join us on our nine- days/eight-night Bahamas Tour from 31 March to 8 April 2024. The tour starts and ends in Ft Lauderdale Executive Airport in Ft Lauderdale Florida. We have room for five (5) aircraft on this tour. The overview of the tour is as follows:
31 March 2024 Arrive in Ft Lauderdale Executive Airport by 3 PM on 31 March. I know it is Easter Sunday but that’s the day that makes this work. We will meet at Banyan’s FBO to fill out Eapis forms and file flight plans into the Bahamas for the next morning. We have rooms booked at the Marriot Courtyard for everyone that night.
1 April 2024 Fly to Chub Cay where we will clear customs and spend the next two nights. I will admit, I have not stayed on this island or resort so it will be new to my list of islands also. Our lodging will overlook a small marina and it is a five-minute drive to the main beach that we will spend most of our time. We have two rental cars for the group and the beach is known as seven-mile beach. These two days you may relax on the beach, swim/snorkel, or for an extra fee we will arrange deep sea fishing, bonefish fly fishing, or scuba diving.
2 April 2024 Nonflying day for beach fun or local adventures.
3 April 2024 Fly down the Exuma Island to George Town. Here we have a resort set up for everyone right at the beach for swimming and other water activities. Again, if you would like to book a deep sea fishing trip or bone fishing we will help you make those arrangements. If you would like to walk around a true Bahamian beach town, it is a short distance away. But most of all it is more time to relax and soak up the sun. Fuel for the plane is available at this stop, the only place planned on this tour.
4 April 2024 Nonflying day for beach fun or local adventures.
5 April 2024 Ok, now we are flying back north to Staniel Cay. This is favorite place for Kathy and I in the Bahamas; however, too many people know about it now and getting reservations can be difficult and expensive. We, however, have everyone lodged on waterfront Bungalows. Now you may sit back on your porch with the water under your feet and have a cool refreshing beverage. Your room includes a Boston whaler boat so we will go to a few remote beaches and swim with the pigs, or snorkel into a cave with wonderful plant and fish to see. 6 April 2024 Nonflying day, play on the water.
7 April 2024 Continuation of 6 April.
8 April 2024 Hate to do it but we must return home. We will fly to Andros Island to clear exit customs in the Bahamas and then to Ft Lauderdale to clear customs in the United States. Once customs are cleared you may start back towards home, OR – Sun N Fun starts in Lakeland only a 1.5-hour flight away on 9 April. Kathy and I have booked two – two-bedroom condos in Orlando. If you would like to join us for the week or for a few nights, please let us know and we will be happy for you to join us. I plan on driving to Sun N Fun most days for the day while Kathy plans to spend time at the Marriott resort with the 5 pools, and other activities. If you must see the mouse, it is only a mile or so away and maybe Kathy will join you at Epcot Center for a day or half day. Kathy will join me at Sun N Fun on Wednesday and stay for the night air show. If you have not seen one of these shows I am sure you will be totally entertained.
Cost:
The 9 day/8 night tour is planned for $7500.00 per couple, If you plan on staying with us in Orlando let me know and I will get you a price but it is very reasonable.

Payment Schedule:
Payment Schedule: All funds paid in US Currency via check. A $2000.00 deposit is required to hold your reservation. Another $2,000.00 or the balance payment is required six (6) months prior to your trip (30 Sep 23). Another $2,000.00 or the balance payment is required three (3) months prior to your trip (31 Dec 23). The final payment is due one (1) month prior to your trip (29 Feb 2024).
Cancellations:
If you cancel before ninety (90) days prior to the beginning of the tour, a full refund (minus a $2000.00 reservation fee) will be made. If you cancel within the last ninety (90) days before the tour, we, Blue Goose Aviation, Inc., can only provide a refund if we are able to rebook your reservation.
