Gregg “Dotman” Dotter

  Born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania February 26,

 1958. Graduated from Penn State with a BS in Music Education in 1980.

 Commissioned as 2nd LT through Air Force ROTC while at Penn State.

 Entered Active USAF duty in March 1981 at Laughlin AFB, TX, graduating from USAF Undergraduate Pilot Training there in February 1982, and retired as a U-2 Instructor and Evaluator Pilot at Beale AFB, CA in April 2001.

Logged 1800+ hours as a co-pilot, Aircraft Commander, Instructor Pilot, and Evaluator Pilot in the KC-135 A/D/RT and EC-135L/G and left the Tanker Program as Senior Flight Evaluator at Grissom AFB, Indiana in 1988.

 Flew two tours in the U-2/TR-1 Program accumulating approximately 1600 hours in the U-2/TR-1 as a Mission Pilot, Instructor Pilot, and Evaluator Pilot.

 Operations Officer and Program Manager of the USAF Academy Parachute Team “Wings of Blue” accumulating approximately 450 hours in the DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter and 55 Jumps.

 Additional Aircraft Flown in USAF include approximately 250 hours in the Cessna T-37, and 500+ hours in the Northrop T-38, and approximately 200 hours in various General Aviation Aircraft.

 Holds ATP with type ratings in Boeing 707, Commercial rating SEL, and is a CFI, CFII, and CFI-MEI with approximately 4665 hours total time.

 He is currently a Freelance CFI while raising his children in the mountains near Salida, Colorado.

 He is married to Major Rae Dotter, a retired USAF KC-135 Pilot, and has 3 Children ages 17, 8, and 6.
