Blue Goose Aviation Bahamas Tour 12-19 April 2009
Blue Goose Aviation is doing another Eight day/Seven night tour of the Bahamas just prior to Sun N Fun 2009. We had so much fun last year we have to do it again. Folks last year liked two of the resorts so much that we are spending the entire week at those two resorts. If you would like to do a flight out during the week you are more then welcome to fly to another island; however, we stayed busy and had a great time with the activities of these two resorts. The tour will start in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday12 April. We will start with a briefing on ditching and water survival at 08:00 AM Sunday Morning. We plan to take off at 10 AM for Stella Maris Resort on Long Island about 325 NM. We will stay at the Stella Maris Resort Club for four nights. We have reserved four cottages that surround our own pool to relax in. You can also relax on the beach, snorkel, scuba dive, fish, and many other activities. On 16 April, we will fly west 90 NM to Staniel Cay where we will stay three nights at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club. We have reserved the cottages on the water. There are great views on this secluded island right off your private deck. Here we rent 13’ Boston Whaler boats to snorkel at nearby islands and will explore an underwater cave and visit swimming pigs. Yes, when pigs swim! On Sunday 19 April 2009 we will fly back to Fort Lauderdale to clear customs and you will then be on your own for Sun N Fun or other fun destinations. We hope you will join us on the exciting relaxing vacation. The cost of the tour is $1850 per person based on double occupancy, and $800 per extra person sharing lodging quarters. Single occupancy Price is $2400 for the tour. Tour price includes: all flight planning materials, help with custom forms, help with preparing your aircraft to fly out of the country, lodging, two dinners during the tour, and water activities (snorkeling, boat rides, and sailing). You will have plenty of time to relax, and explore on your own. Discover how much fun it is to fly with a group and enjoy life.
